Hello! I've had my Twiddler3 for about a month at this point, and I'm getting reasonably proficient with it. I'm consistenly hitting >=30 wpm on typing tests with my own little modded version of tabspace. However, I'm not having much luck doing this with just one hand. It's much more comfortable to hold the Twiddler in my right hand while I type with my left. Either that or pin it down against a surface so I can type one handed.
I've tried different hand positions and strap lengths and whatnot, but it doesn't feel like there's a good place for it. Either it's up really close to my fingers and I have to keep them curled really tight to access all the keys, or I have to put it wayy down on my palm where I can't keep it stable enough to type.
I let a friend try it out and she didn't have this issue at all. I'm 6'3", and she's about 5'8".
The obvious solution is to make it bigger to fit my hand better. It just needs to be raised off my palm half an inch or so, and maybe widened. I've thought of maybe adding some kind of putty to change the shape, but I'm not very good at that kind of thing, and I'm afraid I'd just make it less useful, heavy, and ugly. Has anybody else had this issue, or experimented with the size and shape of their Twiddler? Is there a TwiddlerXL?
I appreciate any and all suggestions and comments! Thanks,
