As @lancegatlin says: Twiddler position can make a big difference.
I think it is natural to be more aware of the more agile, index end, fingers. My experience with thumbless has made me much more ring finger aware. Now I tend to think of a multi-finger chord in terms of how it relates to the less agile ring finger, possibly even leading with it. The others fall in around it.
With Twidlit's random chording you can just practice them all and then list them by speed and find the slow ones at the end.
I keep practicing them all just to promote overall agility. The pinky does improve.
