I think it'd be helpful to be able to reverse the order of the modifier buttons.
Given the default order of the modifiers:
┼─────┼ ┼─────┼
│NUM │ │SHIFT│
┼───┼─┼────┼────┼┼────┼
│ ALT │ CTRL│
┼──────┼─────┼
For left-handed use of the twiddler, the reverse order feels much more comfortable to me.
Reverse order for left-handed use:
┼─────┼ ┼─────┼
│SHIFT│ │NUM │
┼───┼─┼────┼────┼┼────┼
│ CTRL │ ALT │
┼──────┼─────┼
Although it is possible to assign the modifier keys in a twiddler.cfg, there is an issue with ALT-TAB.
For left handed use, let's say Control and Alt are swapped as shown above.
So, assign ALT-TAB to the chord CTRL-OOMM.
The twiddler releases the ALT key after each press of the chord.
So, you cannot hold the CTRL key down, and repeat TAB -- when ALT and CTRL are swapped -- to switch windows.
Is there a way to swap ALT and CTRL, in order to be able to cycle through various apps on linux, android or windows? Or better yet, reverse the order of all four?
If not, could this be considered for the future?
