I just started using untethered mode and dang is it great. This afternoon I walked along the Rio Grande at sunset and recorded my thoughts while staring at some herons. I know that's cheesy but it happened and it felt great. Then I came home and hit some buttons and those thoughts were in my inbox.
I wrote a quick and dirty .key file -> ascii script in Node.JS today. I am a Linux user so Trout did not work for me. And then I wrote a bash script which calls that converter script, sends the output to my emacs org-mode inbox, and deletes the .key file off the Twiddler.
If anyone would like this stuff, please respond here (to vote that I publish online) or send me a direct message (with your email, and I'll just send you what I have). I probably won't put it online without interest from others, since it does everything I need it to and it will be some more work to make it a proper CLI.
Also there hasn't been any discussion about Untethered mode here lately. Has anyone been using it really consistently? Anyone found major issues?
