Hello, I have a Twiddler 2 that I've owned since 2006 back when it was handeykey, and while it has served me well, I am now running into a sporadic problem.
I run linux, and the dmesg
output is the following:
[18174.072224] usb 1-7: new low-speed USB device number 50 using xhci_hcd
[18174.095276] usb 1-7: New USB device found, idVendor=04b4, idProduct=0101

[18177.537398] usb 1-7: reset low-speed USB device number 50 using xhci_hcd
...which is great! That's what I'm used to getting.
Unfortunately, now I also get the following error messages, repeating, seemingly at random intervals, in no particular order:
[18185.540116] usb 1-7: device not accepting address 54, error -71
[18181.232985] usb 1-7: Device not responding to setup address.
[18191.112819] usb 1-7: device descriptor read/64, error -71
[18185.540132] usb usb1-port7: unable to enumerate USB device
And the Twiddler is unresponsive.
Any help would be most appreciated!
Thanks!
