Just bought a second Twiddler and the 0M00 (F) key is mushy. Some times it doesn't give a click until after I let go, other times it clicks but doesn't fire a keypress. A couple other keys don't feel as good as others (000L feels perfect), but it's mostly the 0M00 key that gives me troubles. I have another Twiddler and the buttons all work smooth so I know what feels good.
I did buy the haptic motor for this second Twiddler and it was in backorder, which makes me think maybe the motor is added after the fact? Could something have gotten bumped out of whack when the motor was installed?
What's the best way to fix this? It's not unusable but it's very frustrating and I know from my first Twiddler what good buttons feel like. Should I just keep pressing the buttons until they "break in"? Do I need to return it? I have no idea how to open it up and even if I did, what would I look for?
Ultimately, I really dig the Twiddler and once I get my issues sorted (my first has battery issues) I'll be happy as can be and plan to have it replace my normal keyboard. Just seems like maybe there have been a few quality control issues - or I just have bad luck.
