Hello,
I'm a new member to the Twiddler community. I recently was made aware of the work of Chris Muth concerning Dotsies (http://dotsies.org/), an alternative font optimized for reading.
What struck me is the possibility for combining the ideas of Dotsies with a Twiddler configuration. The font basically replaces the Latin alphabet with a combination of five dots. It may not be a perfect fit, but if one uses the Twiddler circle button that falls underneath the middle of one's thumb, the entire alphabet can be represented on the "home" keys.
A secondary thought, is that capitalization could easily be represented if the Twiddler recognized a quick double tap of a chord as a different chord.
I have not explored this idea much and was hoping to call upon the experience of the forum for feedback. Does this open up more room for Multi-character Chords? Can function and number keys be integrated with this idea?
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
