@pfein That's not really a constructive response to solve @tdaniel's issue.
Of all the Twiddler users out there, there are a few that have encountered Bluetooth issues. You can see that in the forum. Almost all issues have pointed to a host stack issue, host radio location issue or something on the host's end.
The Twiddler utilizes the Microchip RN42HID-I/RM Bluetooth Radio. It is powered up and handles all of the connectivity with the host. It is a bullet proof black box that works every time. There is no further firmware or other code that is entered into it to make it work. The BT module is also a "tank". Short of a part failure, if it works once, it works all the time. Since we test 100% of the units going out, we are sure that BT connectivity will work right out of the box.
The reason why you see reports on the forum is that we actually respond to customers and try to fix the issue. Very few companies that supply host devices will give you this level of personal support. So, we end up doing the tech support for both ends of the connection when we are only responsible for one.
The fallback is to send the unit back to us and we will investigate and try to replicate the issue. If not, we will replace the unit.
