Copied from the firmware upgrade thread...
@tony, found the untethering instructions - here - N + S 00M0, then N + S 000M to print what I've keyed.
From further experimentation I figure out that the untethered text stays on the twiddler when I disconnect it and turn it on and off, and when I then add more, that simply adds to the end of that mass of text. So far the only way I've figured out to clear it is to mount the twiddler via USB and delete the new file 'Twiddler.key' file that has appeared from the untethering. (and which I can't open in any program).
Is there by any chance a more elegant workflow for this? Any option for clearing the untethered-keyed text after printing/copying without having to drag-delete this twiddler.key file onto my desktop? And might I request a later possibility to save each distinct 'untethered session' as its own raw text file, maybe?
To be very clear - this new working method is a revolutionary godsend and something I've waited years for, so thank you (I repeat my prediction that this will become a totally new way of working, and look forward to the twiddler 4 with a tiny screen, and enhanced untethered functionality). I'm just trying to figure out if there are work methods that are more sensible than the laborious workarounds I have, or if any others might be in the planning at Tekgear HQ.
