Now experiencing this issue on Mac OS X Monterey 12.0.1 on Mac mini desktop when using a second Twiddler (lags and disconnects).
Please help I'm getting desperate here click reply
@pfein Does this happen right away or does it degrade over time? I have 2 Twiddlers connected via Bluetooth on Windows 10, LM506 dongle and everything is working as intended.
Degrades over time, and does not always happen immediately (I've gotten as long as an hour or two) though once it starts it's more likely to occur.
Also note that I've only tried on Linux (android and Ubuntu) and NetBSD (OS X and iOS) variants
Fastest it happened was on android if that helps save some time, but probably not great for debugging
@Tony ubuntu was pretty quick to manifest it as well
@pfein Connect one Twiddler to host A and another Twiddler to host B. This is the same traffic but different hosts.
Bluetooth operates in the ISM band. It's pretty good at finding and open channel but the ISM band is getting increasingly crowded.
@Tony trying to test, but hit new issue: on a freshly booted OS X Machine with no devices paired, I got the following "passkey mismatch" error on attempted first pairing
Trying to pair again I get "connection rejected"
Happens on my other twiddler as well
Problem persists even after N+S R000 Bluetooth reset
@Tony OK was finally able to get them both connected: 0D51 to OS X, 15E8 to iOS they operated fine for a few minutes, and then both disconnected at the same time and now neither will reconnect even after power cycling
And now neither device even shows up for pairing… 😣
@pfein N+S R000 clears the pairing table in the Twiddler. Did you clear the pairing on the host? It seems like the host still thinks the connection is active. Host reboot should solve that as well.
@Tony Cleared pairing, rebooted relevant Hosts, one Device showed up for pairing for about three seconds and now nothing shows up again. I'll give you a ring a bit later to discuss
@pfein Just running a test now. 2 Twiddlers connected to Mac OSX. Running NS 00R0 (Test print every 8 seconds) to see if there is any issues. So far, after 30 mins all looks good. I need to get to the + 1 hour time you started seeing issues to see if I can replicate.
@pfein
This is a Windows 10 screen, but do you get something like that on your host?
No, it just says "connection rejected"
sorry for slow reply, didn't get an email about this one....
Can you take a picture and upload it?
Just ran a test for 10 hours and 2 Twiddlers ran as intended with no drop out.
Is it possible to take a video of the issue?
