Thanks, guys. I had forgotten about the interactive programming mode, so the manual was a big help.
I decided not to do the full reprogram to try out backspice, but just updated the punctuation layout to something that made more sense to me and added a bunch more letter combination shortcuts.
I'm impatiently waiting for my twiddler3 order now. Support said it should ship in about a week after ordering, but it's been a bit more than 2 now, so I really hope it's going to get to me before I need it in a couple more weeks after surgery. My twiddler2 is a bit awkward with slightly harder than it should be to press buttons and mouse nub and my thumb is getting sore practicing with it.
